Do you eat for health or out of emotion?

Writer's picture: NatalieNatalie

Emotional eating causes so much pain and can lead to poor health. It is more common than many realize. Many of us eat when we are happy, when we are sad, when we are scared or when we are simply exhausted but need a "reward". I know I do it. At the end of a long day I want to sit down with chocolate and a glass of wine. This isn't always a bad thing but knowing WHEN to stop eating and HOW to appreciate food is so important to overall health. For some people anxiety, depression even loneliness leads to overeating which leads to weight gain and more anxiety. Let me help you get a handle on your hunger. Download the hunger-fullness scale below and listen to this week's podcast (click here)

My desire is to help you live a happy, heathy life. it starts with being aware and being honest with ourselves. I've had to do a lot of soul searching lately and my eating habits are a part of that. Listening to our bodies is part of balance and happiness.

Stay positive.
